Hello, I have 250 dollars to spend on my computer but I don't knows what to get to improve my computer the most. I play new games and I edit 1080p using a bunch of editing programs.
Location- NJ
Budget: 250
When I'm going to buy: this week
Processor: i5 650
Cooling- stock fan
Motherboard: Intel dh55hc
Memory: Kingston KVR 1300mhz 4x2gb
Power supply: corsair cx750m
Graphics card: xfx r9 270x 2gb
Monitor: 23" acer 1080p
Os: windows 7 home premium
Hdd: WD 1tb 5200rpm
Case: old case with one small fan and no cable management
Things I run the most: flight sim x, battlefield 4, Photoshop, go pro cinema, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe premiere cc,

I just want to know what would be the best route for me to go in upgrading to provide the most boost in performance.

Well, if you want to upgrade your CPU that would mean getting a new motherboard, which would be 250+ for the new CPU and MB. The GPU is perfectly fine. Maybe you could get a SSD but other than that there isn't much else you can do, I think you would notice a massive performance increase with a SSD or even just a decent 7200 RPM HDD.
