Front Panel Audio

Hi guys,

Can u help me connect my front panel audio connectors to the motherboard. The connectors from the case are: Return L, Return R, Spkout L, Spkout R, Mic-BIAS, Mic In and Ground

The motherboard: GND, Presence#, mic_ret, out_ret, mic2_L, mic2_r, out2_r, j_sense, out2_L

i think u need to connect that in HD audio slot provided in ur motherboard.
also do chk the motherboard instruction manual. generally there are two options for connecting front audio. one is HD audio and another is AC'97. so please chk that the cable provided with ur cabinet is HD audio or AC'97 or for both.

http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk255/waltthesalt/fpaudio.png - this is what the connectors look like + 1 more that is gnd (same size as those) and it doesnt say hd audio or ac'97

The front panel connector on your motherboard for the audio is the HD audio header located on the bottom extreme left of your motherboard , bit confused as to your case , what is it ?

and it worked the way it is shown on it. The front panel is now working. Thanks for the help, tho.
