HI, I have recently installed a 128 GB SSD in my system so that I can utilize the SSD unlimited cashing. So I installed the drive and allocated it successfully so that it would show up in windows; however, once I employed SSD cashing with a TB internal hard drive, is when I stopped seeing the new SSD. Is that normal for ASUS? i should also mention that I am having some trouble with my Power supply as the 3.3V regulator is reading 3.008 volt and was even lower with the SSD drive

Build: ASUS x79 sabertooth motherboard
8 GB of vengence consair Ram
770 GTX from gigbyte
1000 W power supply
2 SSD drive one has my operating system
1 TB internal hard drive (SSD cashing)
2 TB internal hard drive
creative audio Z sound card
water cooled H100

I use SSD caching on both my laptop and desktop, and in both cases the space that is allocated to be the cache do not show up in windows as a drive letter.

For example, on my laptop I have 16GB of a 32GB SSD allocated to cache, and then 16GB as a drive to put stuff on that needs quick drive access that I am currently working on. Only one of those get a drive letter. If you look at my SSD in Disk Management You can see the SSD as a disk, and see both the sections shown in the partition graphic. But the 16GB for the cache just shows up a 16.00GB/Healthy, where the section with the drive letter Shows <Label> (E:)  16GB FAT32 Healthy (Page File, Primary Partition).

I think that's correct, It certainly is for my cache SSD drive (Sandisk Readyboost). It can't be both a cache drive and a regular drive at the same time. What caching software are you using, Intel Smart Response?

The allocated space for cache will be seen by windows as nothing more than a folder , it will not show up as a drive. If you partition your drive and allocate that partition for cache..it will show up.. Ccleaner is a great cache cleaner ( freebie) if you leave your setup as is.
