There is no display coming up on my monitor. It's a brand new build. My mobo is a asrock z87 killer. My USB ports are working. Help please. I have a gtx 770 4 gb windforce and an i7 4770k CPU. I'm not sure what's the problem. It might just be something I forgot to plug in since it's my first build. Please help

There's your problem right there - if you use the VGA on the motherboard, it will not work because your graphics card is set as the default display adapter. If your monitor has a DVI (typically a white cable) output, just connect that cable to the DVI port on your graphics card and the DVI input on the monitor.

Yes everything appears to startup fine. Fans are all on. Graphics card fan is on. Just no display on the monitor when I put in the VGA cord

Might want to check the BIOS settings to see if it's set to use the integrated video or to automatically use the GPU you installed - also, did you test other video connectors on that GPU? Most 770s only have DVI & HDMI, so are you using an adapter?
