Hi,my friend give me this motherboard : H61M-E23 (B3) and told me that his pc turn off by itself then he decided to buy a new one. I have buy an Intel corei3- 3220 and I want to put it on this board to see if the motherboard can still be used because actually no one knows what is the problem of this board. However a computer technician told me that by testing the board with my processor ,I can damage the processor if the board is faulty.Do you agree with this ? What do you think ?

Hi sadgamer08
If the board is faulty this is possible but hard to say without having the board , my advise would be get a new board if you are buying a new cpu then you have a warranty and no risk of faulty hardware
