A 5 year old Toshiba satellite (can't read model number) brought to me literally dripping water. I took it apart and dried everything off and cleaned them. First have problem with keyboard, key stuck so I disconnected keyboard and tablet.
Tried starting Windows Vista but computer shut down at 27 seconds from power on.
Tried starting in Ubuntu but computer shut down at 27 seconds from power on.
Removed hard drive and started from live ubuntu USB but computer shut down at 27 seconds from power on.
Removed dvd device but computer shut down at 27 seconds from power on.
Removed Ram cards one at a time but computer shut down at 27 seconds from power on.
Went into BIOS but computer shut down at 27 seconds from power on.
The fan does turn on initially at boot for about 5 seconds.
I think we all see the trend here, what starts at 27 seconds and what can be done about it?

Either way there will be cash needed to fix this issue. Anything that is that wet, is ruined. No matter what part of the world you are in. Only way to figure out what is wrong at that point is to start swapping stuff in and out. If that is not an option, neither is getting it working again. Corrosion will set in as well.
