And why would you assume the things he has listed were software. Zone alarm supports only a tiny fraction of the function a actual hardware firewall does.
Still maybe you answer is partially right...it could be none of the above or it could be all of the above. Since firewalls do everything from VPN to content filters there is no way to guess what is important to the poster.
I had ignored this thread because of too many variables to choose but zone alarm is not even close to the right answer...at least he gets a bump on this thread I guess.
