What temperature should my cpu be at?

I am cooling my cpu(intel pentium g2020 Dual Core 2.9GHZ) with stock cooler.
Here in india, its summer during this time of year. My CPU temperature is at 48-54 celsius when Idle. Should I be worried?
or everything is normal??

let's talk in difference versus ambient temperature it's easier that way. 10-20 over ambient is ok, 30+ over ambient while idle is cause for worry, 40+ over ambient means something is wrong with the cooler.

add another about 20C to each one and you get what should happen at 100% load. (you can simulate this with prime95 for example)
