i was thinking to change my current:Core 2 Duo E7400 to FX6300 or i3 4130 and to i5 if i choosei3
RAM:4GB DDR2 to 8GB DDR3
GPU:GT220 to HD7870 or HD7770
PSU:and i got 450 power supply
HARD DISK:500GB
ATX CASE

DO i need new power supply like 500watt?
sometimes i asking people he choose lower then my 450watt and i ask why he said i no need to more watt PSU like Athlon x4 960k Quad Core at 430 watt

MY current PSU is powerloqic i think that PSU come with case (maybe)

replace it ASAP!!!

the capacitors in the psu is now most likely malfunctioning(capacitor aging)

and yes you can drag on using bad psu, :wahoo: 6 years is pretty good.but it does not have the certification. next time you may not be so lucky

its best not to cut money on power supplies:no:

Best-Corsair gs600W(absolute best),Cooler Master GXII 550W
Moderate-corsair cx-500,600,Cooler master thunder 500W
Satisfactory_corsair cx 430

go for xfx or evga PSU's

i\d rather use a car battery than a corsair CX

woa!! someone doesn't like corsair,must be a bad experience,well it depends :sarcastic:, i did not have any problems with them :ange:

its not corsair i don't like, its just their PSU's
they use cheap parts that cause them to degrade fast (compared to other PSU's)
yes if you didn't know PSU's tend to degrade over time

As you can see at above there got 430 watt PSU but i have 450 watt PSU does it mean i got better PSU?
tell me pls

this psu come with case and gaming pc last 6 years :D i think its not for 6 year ago
