my ques is i have 2 rams of g.skill sniper 1600 mhz each 4 gb..if i use another 4 gb ram of umax 1333 mhz..will there be any problem in gaming

Solution
Yes you can mix them but your motherboard will lower the clock speed of the faster ones and make all of them run at 1333mhz..:)

because it cant take 1333 to 1600 ;)

oh an they should also have the SAME cas latency
here is a good guide :wahoo: http://

their may be a compatibility issue, since they have different MHz, you won't have a problem when gaming more like straight away when you start up. If you have problems when you start up, try to downclock your third RAM module to the same MHz as the other RAM modules, by going into BIOS and manualy downclocking them.let me know if you run into problems.

unless you really need the extra ram I would not do it.... 1) it will slow all your ram down to 1333mhz 2) it will take your two sticks you have now out of dual channel mode.

since your only gaming just stick with 8gb at this time and point you don't need more then 8gb for gaming. your system will thank you in the long run.
