drivers if upgrading cards

I'm upgrading from a 9600gt to a 750gt and was wondering if the drivers i already have uinstalled will work? i get the impression they are universal across the nvidia range.

I would recommend just uninstalling them using a sweeper, install your new card, boot up and install the correct drivers. This will just avoid any problems what so ever and just makes life easier, and it only takes 5 minutes.

what is a 750gt? maybe 750ti?

the drivers are different, use the nvidia control pane to uninstall your driver with the old card still in. then power down, swap cards, open up nvidia control panel, and it should handle the rest for you with a few clicks

Hi and welcome to the forums!

It would appear to be they use the same software, though when you install the card, it may require you do download a driver in the software, as there is often a Nvidia software, with the driver for that card installed with that. As both cards should not run off the same driver.
