Can someone please explain something to me? Whats the difference between a motherboard thats ready for computers equipped with FreeDOS 1.0 v.s. Windows 8? Can one motherboard be used to replace the other? I'm specifically looking at the HP 683030-001 v.s. 683030-501 motherboards -- Can I upgrade their integrated graphics counterpart (HP 683029-501) to either of these boards and run my windows 8 box?

Edit: I forgot to mention that i've got a HP Pavailion g7z-2100 CTO Notebook with AMD chipset.
