I have Intel DG41RQ Motherboard with Intel C2D E7500 Processor. I have dual-booted Windows 7 and ArchLinux in my machine.
Day before yesterday, my computer automatically started to loop reboot without any warning.
I have done few hardware tests to find where the problem is,
- Removed RAM & installed new one, still same problem occurs.
- Removed SMPS, installed new one - same problem.
- Removed Hard drive, added new one - same problem.
- Thought, it could be overheating problem but I am not doing any power intensive work, except coding in C for ARM.
So, I thought problem might be in Motherboard. Fortunately, I was successful in finding obsolete chipset mobo at local store for my C2D processor. Today, I assembled it again. Worked fine for 4-5 hours, but then it bootlooped again. What could be the problem ?
Kindly help, I am losing my time & deadline is approaching for my project.
