Why can't my laptop play big title games?

This is the specs for my laptop:
TOSHIBA
Satellite L735
Intel Pentium
CPU B950 @ 2.10GHz
RAM: 4.00 GB
I load up the game and the first part of the game comes up( the companies that made it) then boom! game has stopped working. Windows is finding a solution but it never finds one!
The fan is also noisy. Maybe thats the problem?

You need something with a CPU better than a Pentium, and you need a discrete graphics card/chip (not integrated graphics). Both will cost you. The laptop you have now is just good for web browsing, e-mail, word processing, and watching videos. And for playing ten-year-old games.

Which games in specific are you trying to play?

That laptop is not going to be able to run most modern games. It will be fine for every day things like word processing and browsing the web, but the CPU is pretty week and it does not have a discrete GPU.

Um many games, like Devil May Cry, Saints Row IV but they work sometimes. I managed to finish DMC in devil hunter mode but when i changed the difficulty it stopped working. Saints Row worked a bit then stopped when the explosion happens!
What would you recommend me to upgrade to?
