I am wanting a modular PSU as I'm tired of having a non-modular one, which in the end - are sometimes bad with cable management and a big factor in buying cases. Are these types of power supplies recommended nowadays?
Mobo: ASRock 990FX Fatal1ty Killer Series CPU: AMD FX-6300 Vishera 6-Core GPU: 1GB MSI HD Radeon 7770 GHz Edition (Upgrading to 2GB 760) PSU: Corsair CX500 Builder Series HDD: 1TB Seagate CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper Evo 212 Case: Thermaltake Armor Revo Gene Snow Edition (Upgrading to NZXT H440)
One of the things I like about my HAF XM is the "shield" for the PSU. It slides to where you need it, and hides any cables that can be seen leaving any PSU. Really helps a case stay clean looking, even modular ones as they have the plugged in cables leave and be seen as well.
SR71 linked a great PSU. You should be happy with that one.
