HP wireless printer stopped printing from MacBook Air

I have an HP Officejet j6400 series wireless printer that has stopped printing from my MacBook Air laptop. worked previously.

There is paper, ink and I believe you can see the printer on the network. Don't see any errors. I even plugged in the Mac directly to the printer and it still wouldn't print.

I know in Windows, HP loads their 'HP Solution' software for the printer (effectively controls the printer from the PC). I would think there is a Mac equivalent. If so, did you load this & does it 'see' the printer and give an indication of it's status?
