I have 3 monitors hooked up to my 7770 currently via
2 DVI
1 active display port to VGA
And I was wondering if it’s possible to hook up another via the HDMI port?
Not a big deal if I can’t just thought I’d look into it.

Solution
It'll have to be another active dp so you'd need a splitter or hub.

Edit: The xfx page says up to 3 though so that is your max. Do you have igpu to run more monitors?

Edit for spectre's edit: There are 7770 that support 4 (as well as 7750) but it depends on the exact model. Even so, it still has to be on dp for 3+ with any amd card.

wow i just realized how badly i worded that... I meant to say I have it hooked up but is there a way to make the 4 monitors work (another active adapter or something) cause when i change the settings it wont let me apply them. Sorry about the crappy wording.

That was enough info to know what igpu you would have. With old mobos like that, it's really up to the mobo manufacturer to have the option in the bios so you need to check. If there isn't any way to turn it on from there then you can't use both at the same time. You could try to have a monitor connected to it anyways just to make sure

Thanks for the info K1114. I was not aware that those cards could come with different numbers of monitors.
