I recently found a computer that looks good for gaming, but I want to ask the community to make sure. I found it off of eBay for around $330. It is used. With tax its around $450. Is it a good deal? These are the specs:

Windows 7
Intel Core i3 1stgen.
3.0 GHz
Radeon HD 7850 Twin Frozr 2
8 GB Memory
1 TB Hard drive

Will I be able to play recent games?
Gta 5
Watch Dogs
Euro Truck Sim 2 (simulators, etc.)
Minecraft and/or maxed with mods
Call of Duty Ghosts
BF 3 and 4
DayZ
And more..

I most likely will be recording. AA probably off, maxed setting are not necessary. Is 1080p needed? Can I run 1080p? I would like 30 fps or above, or smooth gameplay. It would also be used for editing, internet browsing, YouTube etc.
Thanks a lot in advance.

Thats only a 1st gen i3. It might be able to game somewhat, but not the best. I'd recommend spending about 300 more bucks for a nice amd build.

Edit- I need more details, what motherboard is the i3 on?

It won't max out games but you will get decent performance nonetheless. I agree with Diox55 though, if you save even just $150 more you can get a much better computer.

Issue with buying a used computer off ebay is you have no way of testing it first. Way too many people try to offload systems that crash due to hardware issues on others. I suggest you check craigslist or somewhere where you can see the system run in a game or a stress test to make sure it's stable. The CPU on it is a bit slow for good gaming, but the video card is OK. I would not recommend getting a gaming system sight unseen unless it's new.
