I want to use an 8GB USB drive that was provided to me by Dell as a Win7 image for reinstallation as a boot drive to install Win8 on my new computer. The drive is separated into two drives, a D: and F:. I have write access to D:, but can't do anything with F:. Any help on reformatting the write-protected F: drive?
