Details needed, what exactly happens when you try to connect? Are you talking about the WiFi connection? Does it see the wireless connection? Did you check for newer drivers for the laptop, chipset, BIOS and wireless card?

Some wireless cards have issues with some WiFi standards. Try changing the security on the gateway settings just to test it out.

Only the win-vista laptop has problems. The connection wizard shiws connectivity to the lan via wifi but a broken link for lan to wan. All other clients work fine.
Could be something in win security settings (I've tried disabling win firewall -- no joy) or a setting on moto surfboard that affects win-vista only.

Thx, Frank

Check the laptop on an ethernet cable to see if the issue is isolated to wireless or not. And check for driver updates as in my other post. You should also reboot the modem if you have not done that yet.
