Hey all,
Hope you can help me with this. I have a Linksys E2500 router hooked up to my Cable modem with Xfinity cable. Lately, the internet has been crashing every once in a while and then coming back, but with a strange oddity. The website that I tried to access when the crash happened won't load, but everything else will. This also happens when the crash occurs while I'm in a game client (like League of Legends) and then when the internet comes back I can go to any other site but can't connection the LoL server.
This is very strange, and I do believe the internet is going down on all my devices - not just my PC. The PC is brand new I just build it last week and plugged it into the internet today - but I think this issues started even with my laptop a few days ago.
Is it possible that somehow making a request to a certain webpage or server is overloading and crashing the router, and that is why it crashes and then comes back (but not to that site)? Could it be a connection issue with the router or the modem? Or is it an issue with my new computer?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
