Hello everyone,
Recently I made a post here about how some fan in my PC has been making a funny noise lately. After some help on the forum and some "detective work", I was able to ensure that the faulty fan is in fact the one on my CPU cooler.
The cooler I use on my FX-6350 CPU is the Cooler Master Hyer 212 Plus air cooler, currently with the stock fan that came with it. Since it is faulty, I obviously want to replace it. However, the stock fan was damaged when I received it, and other people who posted on my thread said that they also have had bad experiences with the default Hyper 212+ fan.
My question for all of you guys is this: Should I purchase another stock Hyper 212+ fan for the sake of ensuring perfect compatibility and fairly low price, or should I get a different brand/type of fan so that it is more probable that I avoid having more issues? If so, which fan would you recommend?(Note: The radiator will only fit a 120mm fan) Also, is it worth using two fans on the radiator to maximize cooling capabilities, or is that just a waste of time and money with the 212+? I have seen it done, but never comparisons in temperatures of 1 fan vs 2.
Thanks for any/all help!
