are the r9 270 MSI and r9 280 MSI the same size

I am thinking about upgrading from my crossfire 270 setup to a crossfire 280 setup. Are they the same size dimension wise?

Not exactly. The Msi 280x is about .4 inches in length longer than Msi 270x. While bigger, the difference is very insignificant, I would not work unless your 270x cf are cutting it close. I would make sure your power supply can deliver at least 750 continuous wattage.

Thank you. I do have a 750 watt corsair mx power supply. I just wanted to know if I took my 270s out would they fit in my box on my motherboard. I have the 300R corsair mid tower as well
