My two options are

ASUS VG278HE Black 27" 2ms (GTG) HDMI Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 50,000,000:1 Built-in Speakers 3D ready, Height, Swivel adjustable

ASUS VG248QE Black 24" 144Hz 1ms (GTG) HDMI Widescreen LED Backlight LCD 3D Monitor Height&pivot adjustable 350 cd/m2 80,000,000:1 Built-in Speakers

If your system can put out around 100fps when playing games I would go with the VG248QE. But if you are only pushing out +/- 60 Fps there isn't really a reason to get the 144hz monitor. but if you are getting 100+ fps then you cant beat the 144hz refresh, if you play a lot of FPS games you will love the low input lag and fast response time. the speakers are not very good, but I play with headsets so it doesn't bother me.
