How can I measure the quality of a monitor?

I recommend this monitor. For gaming it's going to be perfect. It has a 1 ms response time and 2 hdmi inputs, so you could plug in your pc and a console or something like that.

You want in the 1-2 ms repsonce time and 120-140hz is also good to look for. contrast ratio is how many differnt colours can display so a high contrast ratio is handy but responce time and refresh rate are more important in the end

you go for a maximum of 5ms for gaming and ips is highly recommended. TN screens black out when you move from side to side, like a protector thing but it is not as crisp. HDMI is also good try this one http://pcpartpicker.com/part/aoc-monitor-i2367fh

Yeah but if your into fps games you want 1-2 ms minimum
