SLI GTX 780 DC2 Better with Asus PB278Q 27" 5ms or ROG SWIFT PG278Q 27"1ms?

Hi guys(and girls) Im in the market for a new monitor and I havn't experienced 2560x1440 yet.
Iv got my mind set though and unsure which to get as I dont know how 2 Gtx 780s will perform as far as fps and image quality. I play newer games like BF4 mostly First person shooters.
Which would you say is a better deal for me? thanks in advance.

The ROG is what I'd get. It is 1440p, 144hz with G-sync. For gaming, that will give you the smooth experience.

The PB278Q is better for desktop use.

Of course it can, so can a single 770, or 760, but you might not be able to always play at completely maxed out settings. Your biggest obstacle will be your CPU, which you did not list. Some games will be CPU bound, not letting you to always be above 60.

4770k@4.2 and maxed settings is what i am going for.

It will do fine most the time, but recognize that this is not console gaming, where one setting fits all. Dev's do not expect you to be able to max out the setting in many games. Some cannot no matter what system you have. You will have to be willing to turn a couple settings down now and then if you want to play PC games.

Get the ROG when it comes out, G-sync will also minimize the visual annoyance when FPS vary from 40-60 which can happen with any new game at 2k/ultra settings.

Plus when your FPS are high which will be most of the time you will enjoy high hz gaming automatically and the 2k res.
