Hey everybody,

I'm looking to extend the life of an aging HP s3500f PC. My kids mostly use it for Minecraft (poor performance on low settings with integrated graphics) and various web games. I figure spending ~$80 on upgrades would be more effective then dumping $3-500 on a new machine which would only see limited use as I've described.

The PC has a couple of bottlenecks. First, the machine is currently maxed out at 2x 2GB PC2-6400 (800MHz) modules. Secondly, the PSU weighs in at a paltry 160W. I'll need to upgrade this along with the video card and the max I've found for this form factor is 320-350W. CPU is okay/decent.

The MB has a PCI-E x16 slot, and the case is a slim-factor case so the card would need to be small enough to accommodate that. I think a low-mid range card would give the machine the boost it needs to play Minecraft (and keep the kids happy), and help the machine last another year or two.

TL: DR - Any recommendation for a lower-mid range slim factor PCI-E x16 video card?

Thanks!
