question about amd fm2's GPU

the amd a6 6400k have radeon HD 8470D GPU. any comment on this? will this be better than my ati radeon 4670? I've compared the specs and found out that the 4670 have better display. but the 8470D is better in other aspects. Please review these 2 GPU.

also, any am3 or am3+ processor that is about the price of the amd a6 6400k?

also, if someday i decide to crossfire, what are the important factors that i should consider? PSU? heat? or what?

The 8470d graphics is better than the 4670. Neither of them are as good as a lowly GT640 graphics card.

The a6 6400k is about the cheapest and worst fm2 cpu. Its cheaper than any amd fx series cpus and about the same price as a G3420 Pentium

Crossfire - make sure your power supply is up to it.

8470D is on board gpu which will run most games, but in the lowest of settings. HD 4670 is insignificantly better than 8470D. So what I said about 8470D applies to HD 4670 since there capabilities are similar. About pricing,it really depends on your country, but, in the US, no am3 processor is the same price point as a6 6400k (costs about $65) with the closest fx 4130 costing about 90-100. If you decide to crossfire, you are looking at a low end crossfire (w/ 6570), won't produce much heat or waste too much power. With that setup, you want at least 1600mhz ram, 8 gb of total ddr3 ram and a third party cpu cooler (apu will probably run pretty hot).

hi. thanks for the reply. can you recommend other processor with the price range of a6 6400k? doesn't matter if it's amd or intel. :) also pls pair it with a good motherboard

thanks. so the athlon x4 is quad core but still socket fm2. does it come with a GPU? i'll check our local store tomorrow. Their tech guys can't help me with hardware specs so i'm asking this forum. thanks mate
