I have a laptop with SATA 3 support, and a Kingston SSD which is also running in SATA 3, but at random moment, i am experiencing that my SATA is running in SATA 2,

Intel RST shows at start up that im running at SATA 3, then when i try to run a benchmark (ATTO) i will get 300mb then suddenly drop to 200 which is SATA 2 speed, then when i check the Intel RST it will now showing SATA 2.

this is really bugging me, it happen when running a benchmark, but when i dont, it just fine.

Thanks for any help or solution.

Solution
don't run a benchmark. l ol. you can't go by speeds and determine that it's running at a sata level.

And what do you mean that Intel RST shows SATA 2 or 3? Take a screenshot.

@getochkn, yeah i think i should not , but before its fine.
@i7Baby, Im sorry about saying 300mbps, its what i read on test, but for clarification i will add a screenshot, im bad at english. Kingston HyperX 3K only 120GB

The last tow image is take before and after the benchmark, the transfer rate became SATA2 from SATA3.
I guess the chipset of intel is bug or something?? i dont know. Appreciate all helps :)

Want to share what i idid.

I actually did some test, and i ended up having a blue screen due to driver error. ( installed all other intel driver base on technical support) and now i reinstall windows, and i DID NOT backup my drivers, iredownload them, install them one by one. I noticed the speed is lowering when i installed Intel RST, i uninstalled it and now im running on full SATA 3 speed. I didnt installed other intel chipset driver that may controlling the sata speed, its ok now.
