I'm having to use my old PC whilst trying to fix/upgrade my proper gameing PC.
My old PC Specs: EI System model 402 running W 7 Home Premium SP 1 64 bit OS
GPU GeForce 8600GT RAM 4Gb CPU Intel Celeron 440 @ 2GHz 1995Mhz 1 core.
On my Windows Experience Index, the CPU is the lowest rated item at 4.2
I know it's a very limited chip and I'm wondering if it's worth overclocking it?
Would I gain any significant performance increase? and as it's cooled via a fairly small aluminium heat sink with a 80/100mm fan, would any extra heat generated need addressing?
