Motherboard Upgrade From Asrock M3A770DE

Hi there I need a suitable upgrade from my M3A770DE to a AM3+ motherboard can someone recommend me a nice upgrade from that it needs to have the usual stuff USB 3 SATA 3.0 support fast memory good bios now here lies a another question I have a Phenom 2 955 currently in my my computer can someone what upgrade paths lie for that firstly I was thinking the FX 6300 but it doesn't appear to be a big enough leap upgrade from my old chip according to benchmarks online but the chip is very cheap compared to the 8320 and 8350 so I'm still considering my options and open to reccomendations from you guys

Hi and welcome to the forums!

the FX 6300 is a great CPU, though it probably wouldn't be called a "huge" upgrade. I would look at getting the FX 8150, they are quite a good price and offer close performance to the 8320/50, for an even better price. For the AM3+ Socket, the best chipset is the 990FX, and for under $120, you can get one of these to take an AMD 8-Core CPU to it's full potential;
