Wiil this be a good config if I use Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Motherboard with AMD 3.5 GHz AM3+ FX 8320 8 Core Piledriver Processor. I have been hearing that this gives an issue of overheating. Is it correct? Or Is there any better option available in a limited budget or a slight higher side from the current one. Also am bit confused between AMD FX 8350 or 8320 or AMD gpu with inbuilt 2gb of graphics. I will be using this machine for multimedia, home use as well as professional use(programming).

Hi and welcome to the forums!

There is no issue with overheating, no. That motherboard option is fine, though don't expect to do much overclocking with it. The 8320 and 8350 are close in performance, so getting the 8350 will make not much of a difference, stick with the 8320. Don't get inbuilt graphics processors, they have terrible graphics and have much less CPU power, best to get a 8320 with a separate GPU,like a ATI Radeon HD 7770.

For your use, the FX 8320 with a spearate GPU will be a much better choice, though more expensive, it's worth it.

the FX 8000 series and 9000 series CPUs have been know to not only overheat using budget Motherboards, getting higher than normal temps on the CPU, But when using these 8 core beasts in "Cheaper" Motherboards with Chipsets that are anything but 970 and 990FX has burned the MB around the VRM so the back of it is browned just like the Pentium D would do. If your going to get an FX 8320 or 8350 I would recommend a 990FX chipset Mb to fully take advantage of the CPU

that's not entirely true, the only overheating that will occur is if he starts to overclock, not when it's at it's stock speeds.
