Java starts then stops

I have Java 7u55 installed. Firewall is off, no antivirus installed.

When I start Java applet (any), it runs for 10 secs, then stops. If I delete Temporary internet files from Java Control Panel it runs a bit longer for a first time (15 secs) then again 10 secs. It's the same in all browsers.

Could try to go to Java Control Panel. Under the Security tap set the address of the applet into the Exception Site List. See if it does any better.

I did it, no change. Java does start so it might not be security issue.

following settings worked perfectly for me

the first picture shows how to enable Java Plugin Launching for browsers ( when Java does not work with any browser and also unable to verify java on java.com site )

just right-click on the JP2LAUNCHER click Properties click Compatibility tick Compatibility Mode set WindowsNT
repeat the same thing for the other one ( JAVAW )
