ok so i've got an ASUS Maximus VI Hero MB and a Noctua NH-D14 both of which i love btw!... I am getting the ASUS 780Ti and was wondering if i will have any clearance issues with the card and the cooler since the cooler is so big and the GPU has a backplate on it? just eyeballing it it looks like it might be kinda close but im not sure. anybody with the same combination that can tell me if everything will fit? thanks!

if you have a graphics card right now and there is no problems then it won't matter because the back plate is only a few mm's thick

it really should fit as people use that combo often does the cooler go over the pci slot? if so you will have problems if it only goes near you should be fine stick a thin plate of something maybe a thin plastic ruler from the cooler to the board btw the cooler of the card faces down so the top is in line with the lci slot

Pci slot looks like about an inch or so from the heatsink. From what I read it should be fine ill update tommorrow when I get the gpu. Thanks for the help guys

Update: got everything installed today. There was plenty of room to install the 780ti and had about an inch between the noctua heatsink and the GPU. So no issues for anyone else looking to do this combo
