Greetings vmannapperuma,

I am curious to see if your issue can be resolved. I had the exact same issue recently. I had a system that worked fine for over a year and then suddenly the monitor would not work on a cold boot or restart about 1/3 of the time. Cycling restarts until I received a display signal would solve the issue until I restarted or shut down again.

Here are some of the things that I tried:

- Reinstalled all drivers which had no effect.
- Changed both PSU cables going into my GPU which had no affect.
- Swapped display ports which would actually give me a working monitor for about 2 seconds and then monitor would give a "no signal" message and go dark again. Sometimes when I switched it back to the original display port...
Hi and welcome to toms hardware!

it could be due to several things, for one the monitor. I would like to investigate with the monitor first. Before your next boot (after 4-5 hours from previous), have the monitor powered up for at least 2 minutes, plug in the monitor cable before booting, once connected, try and boot, see how that goes.

Sometimes when I switched it back to the original display port after trying the secondary port it would work until I rebooted.

I eventually bought a new CPU and motherboard and moved my old CPU and motherboard into a new case with a new GPU, both builds received fresh OS installs. So all parts are still in use and have had no issue since I migrated parts. This tells me that in my case it was probably not a hardware issue but instead a software issue or a conflict issue. I am currently using the same monitor, PSU, and GPU in this system with no problems and the old CPU and motherboard in another system again with no problems.

If you can test your parts in another PC and they test ok I would consider a fresh OS install as I believe that is what ultimately fixed my issue. Perhaps something became corrupt and caused my system to work improperly?

Anyway good luck and I hope you find your issue!
