i was wondering if there is a way to set 2 lan cards to do 2 difrent things on a home network.
i want to set my onboard lan card witch is only 100mbs card to use the internet and the other car is going to be hooked straight to my NAS storage device becuse they both support a gigabit conection and i have found when i conect the second one to my nas directly whe tranfering larg data files over it goes alot faster then when i put them through my switch.
Basicly what im wondering is if there is a way to get internet access with the onboard while the extra card tranfers the files
