Hello everybody!

I've built a new PC.
And the problem is that i have FPS drops in all games i tried!

My specs are:

  • GPU - X2 Nvidia GTX 660 (SLI mode)
    CPU - AMD FX 8150
    Motherboard - AsRock 970 Extreme 4
    RAM - 8GB(2x4) DDR3 Kingston Hyper Blu
    PSU - 650W
    SSD hard drive (256 GB)
    Win 8.1

So i've tried to optimise all games i played.
Also i've unparked CPU cores and updated USEFI to the latest version.
I've expanded my virtual memory to 20 GB and successfully performed this command:
sc config NDU start=disabled to avoid RAM memory overloading.
All drivers are up to date.

The only thing i didn't try is temperature monitoring.
Furthermore i didn't try to overclocking my CPU and GPU too.

I will be really grateful for your answers!

Solution
download afterburner beta and open up the GPU and CPU monitoring. watch them both when you start seeing FPS drops. see if either one of them is at 100%... if so theres your bottleneck. i'd imagine the CPU

Thank's for your reply!
Okay so when i start the game the GPU performance graph starts jumping from 40% to 70% every 2 seconds.
Is this normal?
Both GPU temperatures are pretty much the same.(45 - 50 C)
CPU is loaded for about 60-70 %.
