That PSU is crap. It's in tier 4. The Antec one he has/is going to get now is fine.

The one the OP is looking at isn't even 80+ certified, much les bronze. There is nothing wrong with that Evga PSU.

Actually after looking at reviews for both of the Power Supplies the EVGA is probably actually a better unit. It provides an extra years warranty (2 as opposed to 3 on the VP450) also uses Teapo capacitors through out the build when the Antec uses CapXon and Teapo and CapXon are not as good as Teapo (They are both not amazing brands anyway). I'm not sure how the EVGA unit can be in Tier 4 although the Antec is in Tier 2B.

Yea, for a budget PSU, they are decent. I recommend them often for the budget crowd, that needs something of acceptable quality. The 600b is often recommended as well, for the same reasons. I would prefer a Seasonic or a non CX Corsair, but I would use an Evga, if my budget dictated it. I don't recommend anything I wouldn't use myself.
