Problem with opening Geforce Experience

I have been unable to open the program at all. It has worked before and it suddenly stopped today. I don't know if this is a correlation, but Planetside 2 got updated yesterday and I ran Iolo System Mechanic yeterday as well and maybe it's correlated somehow? I open up the task manager and the Backend and settings procces show up. I have no idea exactly what is causing the problem. (Running an i5-4430 with 8Gb ram and 750ti)

Have you tried uninstalling Geforce Experience and reinstalling it?

No. I probably should have been more specific. It doesn't open sometimes, no matter how often I click. (eg, this past 2 days) but then it'll start working again (today).

The times it doesn't work, is the little Geforce Experience icon down in your system tray? If so, are you able to click it?

Sometimes, when I click on it to open up GFExperience, I get that small loading wheel next to my cursor for a split second. When I right click on it to view options, I can select what I want like the NVidia control panel which will open up, just not the GFExperience.

Try this:
1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\NVIDIA GeForce Experience
2. Right Click on GFExperience.exe
3. Click compatibility tab
4. Tick the box 'Run this program as administrator'

Try running the program now

Alright, I have tried that earlier (running in admin) (had finals so couldn't reply for a while there) and it didn't work. For some reason, after I updated Win 7 and also ran System mech Pro on my system to clean it up then restarted, it worked fine. So, I don't exactly know what caused it initially but until i run into this again, i'll keep a close eye on it. thanks
