Hi all,
I've not built a system for a while so was hoping for some advice.
I currently (and have been for about 5 years) been running the following;
CPU: Core 2 Quad Q8200.
RAM: 4GB DDR2.
GPU: GeForce 9600GT.
SDD: Samsung 840 Pro (128GB).
HDD: WD 7200RPM (500GB).
I'm looking at buying the following;
CPU: i5-4670K.
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo.
MOBO: Asus H81M-A.
RAM: 4GB Kingston Fury Red Series DDR3-1866.
GPU: GTX 750 Ti 2GB.
My question really is in two parts;
1. Is there any reason the new components wouldn't work with my current case, power supply and solid/hard disks? (The motherboard size is the same as my current case).
2. Would I notice a significant increase in the performance of gaming (Skyrim, DOTA, MMO) such that the £350 price tag for the new components would be justified?
Again, any help or advice would really be appreciated.
Cheers guys.
