Is my AMD A8-5550M APU getting to hot!?

ok so when i am running something intensive like a power hungry game both my gpu and cpu can range from 48C to 55C.....maybe a 1 second spike to 60C rarely is that to hot oh and idle temps on gpu/cpu range from 18C-23C

Considering the "Maximum operating temperature" for this APU is 105°C I would say that is well within normal ranges for a stock cooler.

You can always try cleaning out your fans or putting some new thermal paste on if its been a while.

That's perfectly fine. And since it's a notebook CPU the only things you could do are clean out your notebook, apply better thermal paste or lower the ambient temperature.
