Flickering monitor, anyway to keep display on while PC is off?

Hi,
I have a bit of an annoying issue. My monitor is old and whenever I turn it on I have to wait between 2 to 5 hours for it to stop flickering. I know I need a new one, but at the moment, money is tight, so I'm suffering through it.

What I would like to know is...Is there anyway to keep the display on while my PC is off?

Hi, if you don't turn off your monitor, do you have the same problem when you turn on your computer?

Yes. My monitor automatically goes to sleep and turns off the display if the PC is ever turned off. But I don't want to just leave my computer running 24/7.

Do you have an option in the menu for the monitor, to select the sleep mode off.

Not that I could find. The only thing that resembles it is "Display Time" but it's at a max of 200sec.

Hey, just wondering if anyone could have a solution to this issue.
As I have said before, I know that I just need to buy a new one, but I can't right now. However, for anybody in my current position, and if I can't find an answer to this, at the moment, turning the screen to full brightness seems to help it steady faster.
