What power supply should I get for a msi r9 270


I need help finding power supply I need a good and less expensive and don't want to cheap out the pcu

It depends on which models you are looking at. Both make some really good PSUs and some not so good ones. I don't think you'll find a better deal than the $49.99 I linked above, unless you start looking at making some compromises in quality. The CX lineup from corsair for example would be a cheaper way to go, however, it is made with cheaper capacitors than the XFX I linked. But I do understand, a budget is a budget, and for those who are really tight, the corsair CX can make sense.

The 500W recommendation is for your entire system, and that is a high estimate to cover those people who buy lower end PSUs. The GPU itself only draws 138W peak (above chart).
