Saints Row: The Third Opens Then Closes?

When Ever I Try to run Saints row: The Third Through Steam it opens asks me if i want to run it in dx9/10 or dx 11 when I make my choice nothing happens the game just dosent open. Steam even says that i am not playing a game.

Try right clicking saints row the third>properties>local files>verify file integrity
It should download files that have been lost or something. Or you can do it manually and go to the files in steamapps and install/reinstall vcredist. I'm not so sure about this. Does it use physx?
