Would this computer take this GPU?

Solution
If you come to this forum, provide your budget and expected usage of your computer, then there's lots of kind folks who are more than willing to come up with a comparable part build to what you're looking for. I don't recommend buying a prebuilt computer from Best Buy.

Also, a GTX 700 is a series of graphics cards, it's not a specific graphics card. To answer your question, yes, it's possible to replace a GT 610 with some other PCIE 2.0 GPU like one from the GTX 700 series, but then the rest of the components in your $500 computer are not so great in comparison.
well, do you mean gtx 750-780 ti? and also, i would recommend you build your own, these prebuilts usually come with crappy psu's and motherboards. its not that hard, pretty much grown-up LEGO's. you can watch a youtube video on building a pc yourself, its very easy. you can get better performance with quality parts. but, if you are uncomfortable building your own, ill help you design one and have it pre-built, its the next-best thing :D
