i have a few ideas for a gaming laptop i want for around 500- 800 dollars and here are a few i want to keep it cheaper and i am fine with 720p and here are a few

the third acer aspire with the i7 and the gt640m is the best bang for your buck among those.

the third acer aspire with the i7 and the gt640m is the best bang for your buck among those.

depend on how good resolution and how good fps u gonna want.

the first one equipped w/ i5 cpu and 630M gfx, according to my experience that would be fairly good for gaming, both the 2nd and 3rd are better but since they are second-hand, I doubt if u may encount various problems such as bad battery, bad AC adapter or sth more serious so never buy second hand laptop.

according to ur budget this one will be really good: http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/lenovo/y-series/y410p/ ,that will be the ultimate gig u could find around 800 to even 1000 bucks. (prefer more CPU performance)

this one has 2 gfxs if u will go for brilliant graphic quality and better fps: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834313742, plus it's 15"
