I have a nVidia gt 640 2gb ddr3 graphics card what do you think a safe voltage to overclock this to(powersupply 600w) and how much will this improve my gaming performence,my cpu is AMD A8-6600K 3.9GHz what voltage for this aswell thanks.Ram Kingston HyperX 8gb 1600MHz
Motherboard
Gigayte GA-F2A88XM-HD3
Thanks in advance

Solution
the gt 640 has a power limit put on it by nvidia so you cant go over 105% (i believe is 105% but i may be wrong) so just go as high as the card can (if your case has proper cooling) and for your cpu does it have stock cooling because if it does i do not recommend over clocking but if it doesnt have stock cooling then you can overclock until the temps get to high.

If you are using the heat sync that came with the cpu then its stock or if its a pre-built computer look inside the case and see if its a small heat sync with an amd logo on the fan.

overclocking will give you anywhere from a 5% increase to a 10% increase so its totally worth it.
