Does it matter where you buy bc2 wether it be origin or steam? I heard that the game comes with all the dlc when you buy it. Does that deal apply for both steam and origin?

No it doesn't matter. However, Gamespy, which is the service provider for the BF:BC2 multiplayer server browser, is shutting down at the end of may. I do not believe that EA/DICE has yet announced extending support after the Gamespy shutdown, so time will tell as to whether or not the game is worth buying at all. The shutdown also affects BF1942, BF2, and BF2142. I hope that they don't drop them though.

EDIT: It does seem that EA is looking to transition them, but EA's word is as good as toilet paper so we will have to wait and see

So would you recommend me waiting and just getting it after/if they transition? And also steam has bf2 on sale which I was interested in but now not so much but do you think its worth the gamble of trusting ea since it will only be on sale for this week?

Bad Company 2 has a pretty sweet single player campaign, and the multiplayer will be fun for a month even if they don't carry it over. I don't know how many servers are still up though or how elitist the remaining community is. I played the game for years, put in over 350 hours according to Steam. It's definitely a solid product, better than BF3/BF4 imo but it's also a bit dated.
