So I'm about to purchase a new gaming computer (my first), and I want to make sure there are no problems. If there are any people who can offer advice, particularly on the gpu, that would be awesome.
Thanks

I'm getting this all off of newegg actually, and the card on newegg is around 10 bucks cheaper than Asus.
Also I was going for the g45, but:
1) I saw many DOA mobos in the reviews section (is this a misleading thing?)
2) I'm trying to color coordinate the build, and brown PCB doesn't go w/ black
I will discard #2 if it means better performance/ price ratio, but, again, I need an answer for #1.

It's unlikely that the MOBO will be DOA although it depends on the courier, how they treat packages, and if the card is cheaper on newegg then go ahead with it, The performance is about the same on the motherboards but if you want to spend the little extra for the colour then that's your choice, I chose this for the pure fact that is performs well, looks pretty good (better if it had a black PCB...cmon MSI lol) and is cheaper.

That is a pretty solid build, if you have it in the budget, not a necessity but I personally would get a WD Black 1TB over blue as it is more optimised for gaming and heavy usage, this performs a little better where the WD Blue drives are for just general users.
