I've tried 2 motherboards now and still cannot get video out on the PCI-E, I've checked the video card in another computer and it works fine. The only thing I can think of is that the on-board video is enabled but without an APU I don't have a way to disable it as far as I know. Any help here would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Wow, that thing is absolutely horrible. It should be replaced ASAP and pray it didn't damaged anything. When you get a PSU you can't just look at the advertised wattage. Component quality and the amps on the 12v rail(s) are very important. That model would make a better door stop than a power supply. Also the majority of the time the PSU's that come with cases(especially cheap cases) are absolute garbage and using by using them you risk damaging anything attached to them.

Yea it was the PSU, swapped it with the 850 thermaltake in mine and it went to working. Just surprised everything powered/lit up fine and never turned off. Sigh. Thanks for the suggestions.
